Changes can be made directly from the task using the pencil or cross icon next to each field.
Principle of modifying an individual task
An individual task:
- is created manually;
- can be modified case by case if it is active.
Editable information on an individual task
Depending on your permissions, you can modify the following elements:
- Equipment or spare part concerned
- Task description
- Start date and time
- End date and time
- Planned maintenance time
- Planned downtime
- Assigned users or teams
- Labels
- Spare parts to prepare
- Checklist
- Attached documents
⚠️ These changes only affect this task.
Management rules for tasks belonging to a maintenance plan are different.
To learn more about modifying tasks generated from a maintenance plan, see this article.
When modification is no longer possible
An individual task can no longer be modified if it is:
- cancelled;
- completed.
In these cases, it is no longer possible to:
- add or modify activities;
- change the main information;
- complete or modify the checklist.
⚠️ Exception: it is still possible to add documents or attachments, even to a completed task.
Key points
- Individual tasks can be modified by their creators or authorized users.
