In Mobility Work, a location refers to where a spare part is stored. Managing locations helps you identify assets easily and track interventions more efficiently.
This article explains how to create a location, as well as the limitations regarding editing or deleting it.
Creating a location
A location is created directly from the input field of a spare part or equipment.
- Go to the relevant spare part.
- In the Location field, start typing the location name.
- If no result matches your input, a dropdown option Create will appear.
- Click this option: the location is automatically created and assigned.
👉 When entering a new location while creating a spare part, a message indicates that it will be automatically created upon validation.
Editing a location
- Editing an existing location is not possible.
- If a change is required (wrong name, reorganization), you must contact Mobility Work support.
Deleting a location
- Deleting a location is not possible from the interface.
- For any deletion or correction, contact Mobility Work support to ensure data integrity.
