Creating a spare part in Mobility Work is simple and allows you to efficiently manage your stock and maintenance operations.
Steps to create a spare part
- Go to the Equipment or Spare Parts tab.
- Click the Create button.
- In the creation form, check the box This equipment is a spare part.
This option activates fields specific to spare parts while keeping the standard equipment creation options.
Spare part-specific fields
- Unit price
- Quantity
- Minimum stock
- Maximum stock
- Replenishment lot
- Currency
- Location
Spare part-specific information
- Location: physical storage location
- Unit price: cost of the part
- Currency: optional
- Quantity: current stock
- Minimum stock: minimum threshold (optional)
- Maximum stock: maximum storage limit (optional)
- Item code: ERP reference (generated by default if not provided)
- Replenishment lot: minimum quantity to order
Other fields to fill
- Spare part photo
- Spare part name: recommended format Type – Brand – Model – Number – Line/Area
- Spare part description: element type, contract type, serial number, other relevant info
- Cost center: financial or geographic allocation
- GTIN/EAN code: barcode
- Associated labels: customize information
- Equipment links: link multiple equipment or spare parts
- Custom fields: add extra information
- Visibility: public or private (a public equipment is accessible to all Mobility Work community users, with sensitive data anonymized)
