This article explains how to restock a spare part in Mobility Work, detailing common use cases, steps to follow, and the impact on stock.

Use Cases
Restock is often used when:
- Stock reaches the defined minimum level.
- A new delivery of parts has arrived and needs to be recorded in the system.
Restocking ensures that stock reflects the actual availability of parts and prevents shortages.
Steps to restock a Part
- Go to the Spare Parts tab or open the part’s detail page.
- Click the Restock button.
- In the window that opens, enter the quantity to add.
- Check or adjust the unit price if needed.
- Click Restock to confirm the stock update.
Default Quantity
- The modal automatically suggests a default quantity.
- You can adjust this quantity according to your needs.
Existing Price
- If the price of the new batch is the same as the current price:
- Use the Fill field with existing unit price option to simplify entry.
- Otherwise, you can enter a new unit price.
History of movements
- The stock of the part is increased immediately after confirmation.
- The movement is recorded in the movement history, including:
- Movement type: restockment
- Date and time
- Quantity added
- User who performed the action
- Price and currency of the lot
