In Mobility Work, a public spare part is available to all users in the community, facilitating the sharing of best practices and useful information regarding similar equipment. However, to ensure confidentiality, the names of companies and users are not disclosed on these public spare parts.
The publicly shared information includes:
- The name of the spare part
- The description of the spare part
- Tasks related to the spare part
- Equipment linked to the spare part (if made public)
- Spare parts linked to the spare part in question (if made public)

A private spare part is accessible exclusively to members of your specific network, offering more stringent control and confidential data management.
By default, when created, a spare part or equipment is private.
The choice between a public and private spare part depends on your information sharing and collaboration needs. Public spare parts encourage large-scale exchanges while preserving anonymity, while private spare parts ensure more secure management within your own network.
