In Mobility Work, the creation of a work order or intervention request is done via the creation of a task.
It is important to distinguish between individual tasks and those belonging to a maintenance plan.
A maintenance plan in Mobility Work is an essential tool that helps organize and schedule preventive maintenance interventions for equipment. It facilitates task management by ensuring that each intervention is documented and planned, which helps minimize downtime and optimize machine performance. Therefore, a task belonging to a maintenance plan is created automatically according to the management rules defined in the plan itself.
In this article, we will discuss the management rules for tasks from maintenance plans. To view the rules for managing individual tasks, please refer to this article.
How to Create a Task Linked to a Maintenance Plan?
- Roles: Administrator
- Plans: Starter, Premium, Ultimate
Tasks linked to a maintenance plan are created automatically according to the schedule defined when the plan was created.
A maintenance plan thus corresponds to all the preventive actions to be performed on a particular piece of equipment, periodically, according to certain frequencies.
Once the plan criteria are defined, tasks are generated and will appear on the agenda of the people assigned to the plan. To learn more about creating maintenance plans, please refer to this guide.

- Assigned users and teams

Modifications made to a task only apply to that specific task, while modifications made to a maintenance plan reflect on all future tasks that have not yet been completed. For more information on modifying maintenance plans, please refer to this article.
