How to create a team?
From the Teams menu, choose the Teams tab. Click on the Create a Team button. A modal window will open, prompting you to fill in the following fields:
- Team Name (mandatory): distinguishes the teams from each other.
- Description (optional): better identify the team and define its scope.
- Colleagues (optional): list of users who are part of the team.
- Labels (optional): to further clarify the scope.
An empty team can be created. Members can be added later.
How to convert my user group into a team?
If you already have a user group (i.e., users with the same label), you do not need to add them individually to a team.
When creating your team, in the Colleagues section, you can quickly add an entire group. Simply select the appropriate label and click the Add button.
Users with the selected label will all be placed into the new team.
Creating a team dynamically
It is important to note that the team can be created from other interfaces, not just from the Teams menu.
From a task or maintenance plan
When you add users to a task and choose to assign a user group, the app will offer to create a new team or add users individually from an existing group (based on a specific label). If you click on Create and add a team, a modal window will open on the right, allowing you to create a team without leaving the task. Once the team is created, it is automatically added to your task.
From a colleague's page
If no team has been created yet, a link will display inviting the user to create one in order to add the colleague to that team.
How to modify a team?
To modify a team, click on the button that appears to the right of each team.
This will open the dedicated modal where you will find all the team's details. By clicking on the button corresponding to the field you want to modify, you can add or update the data.
All changes made to a team, including member changes (adding or removing), are automatically taken into account in the tasks the team is assigned to. Thus, users can be removed or added to a task without requiring direct modification of the task.
