The Custom Fields feature allows you to add additional fields when creating an equipment item in Mobility Work. These fields can be configured as mandatory or optional, providing you with the flexibility to include any specific information that might not initially be available in the standard equipment creation page.
Managing Custom Fields
It is important to note that currently, it is not possible to delete a custom field once it has been created. However, you can make it invisible on equipment records if you no longer wish to use it. To do so, go to the Custom Fields menu from the left-hand column of the screen, and then click on the eye symbol next to the field you wish to hide.
This feature helps streamline the display of information by hiding custom fields that are no longer necessary or relevant for your current equipment management needs. It helps maintain the clarity and relevance of data shown on equipment records while preserving the flexibility to adjust and personalize the information as your organization’s needs evolve.
