The Network Settings page groups your network's general settings along with several options that apply to all spare parts/equipment, tasks, and checklists. Only an administrator can access and change them.
Currency and time zone
At the top of the page, set the currency used for costs (labor, spare parts, purchases) and your network's time zone, which determines the time shown on tasks, notifications, and reports.
Spare Parts/Equipment Settings
Automatically link spare parts and equipment: when enabled, a spare part used on a task is automatically linked to that task's equipment.
For details on this link and how it works, see How to link spare parts to equipment?.
Email Notifications
Enable email notifications for task assignees by default: when enabled, the Notify the assignees about this task by email checkbox is checked by default every time a task is created. The task creator can always uncheck it for a specific task.
For details on what assignees receive and other task notifications, see Types of Notifications Available for Tasks.
Task Settings
Enable default assignees when creating a task: define the list of Assignees — colleagues and/or teams — assigned by default to any new task on your network. Add or remove assignees with the Select button.
The operator no longer has to pick an assignee for every task; a banner reminds users, both when creating a task and when editing assignees, that this value comes from the network settings and can be changed on a case-by-case basis.
Checklists
Require creation of a linked task: when a technician answers a mandatory validation step negatively (thumbs down), they must create a linked task before being able to close the checklist.
To understand how linked tasks work (creating from a task or a checklist, reading the card, unlinking), see the article How do I create a linked task from another task?
