Measures allow you to track the usage of assets and automatically trigger maintenance tasks when thresholds are reached.
From the Measures menu, simply click the Create a New Measure button on the right side of the screen.
You need to:
- Enter the name of the measure
- Choose an existing measure unit or create a new one directly
You can also add a description to your measure to provide additional context.
It is usually not necessary to modify the automatically generated code, except in specific cases, as it is used for integrations.
Important: Only numeric measures can be used for usage-based maintenance. Text-type measures are not compatible with measure-based maintenance plans.
