Once your selection basket is ready, you turn it into a purchase order in a single step. You open the add window, choose the destination of the selection, set the quantities and confirm, without having to re-enter the parts one by one.
Opening the add window
- Check that your selection basket contains the parts to order.
- At the top of the list, click the Add X part(s) to a purchase order button.
The Add to a purchase order window opens.
Choosing the destination of the selection
In the Choose the destination section, choose where to send the selected parts:
- Create a new purchase order from the selection
- Add to an existing purchase order: then select an order with the Draft status from the Draft purchase order drop-down list

Setting the quantities
- In the X spare part(s) to add section, enter the quantity to order for each part.
- Check the quantities before confirming.
- Click Add to a purchase order to generate or complete the order.
⚠️ The quantity must be greater than or equal to 1.
The created purchase order is immediately available to you.
Automatic duplicate handling
Parts already present in an open purchase order are automatically skipped to avoid duplicates.
You can therefore use draft orders as a preparation area and add parts to them along the way, with no risk of duplicates.
From the purchase order to the stock update
The consistency carries through to receiving: because the purchase order is linked to stock, recording a reception automatically updates the stock quantities of the parts involved.
Order preparation, validation and the stock update thus form a single continuous chain, with no re-keying from end to end.
Access rights
Turning a selection into a purchase order is reserved for administrators of networks with the Purchase Orders module. Other profiles keep read-only access to purchase orders.
