How to modify a tag group

It is possible to modify a tag group. Go to the Tags menu, in the Group of tags tab, and click on the Modify button.

The network administrator can decide which tags will appear in the group. They can remove or add new labels that were previously created in the Tags tab on the left.

They can also decide to limit the selection of tags in this group to only one tag. To do this, simply activate the Only one tag can be selected option.

When creating a task, at most one tag from this group can be selected.

How to make a tag group mandatory?

It is possible to make a tag group mandatory. In this case, entering one of the labels from the group will be required to create a task.

To do this, an administrator must go to the Tags menu of the application, in the Group of tags tab, click on Create a group or on the icon to edit an existing group. Finally, they must select the option A tag from this group is mandatory to create a task, and validate.

After this, the group will appear in the task creation form and will be mandatory for all users on the network.

How to delete a tag group?

A tag group can be deleted via the Group of tags tab in the Tags menu.

An administrator can decide to remove a tag group that is no longer needed.

To do this, they need to click on the trash icon next to the tag group they wish to delete.

It is important to note that this action is final. A deleted tag group cannot be restored.

What is the impact of deleting a tag group that has already been used?

Deleting a tag group does not affect the tags themselves. All the labels that were part of a deleted group will still be available as individual labels.

This minimizes the impact of deleting a tag group on tasks created with this group: the tags that were contained in the group will continue to appear on tasks created with the group. These tags remain linked to tasks as optional labels.
