How to install a QR code?

Installing QR codes on your equipment comes at no extra cost and can be done easily and quickly. All equipment and spare parts in the Mobility Work CMMS are already associated with a QR code. You just need to print it and stick it on the relevant equipment to activate it.

Don’t forget to install the Mobility Work mobile app on your smartphone or mobile device (available on Android and iOS) so that field teams can scan QR codes.

How to install a QR code on an equipment or spare part?

  1. Go to the Equipment tab in your CMMS.

  2. Click on the QR code icon for the equipment you want to generate a QR code for.

  3. You can customize the visual of your QR code by choosing the format, color, or orientation.

  4. Print it and stick it on the equipment.

Install QR Codes on your entire machine park

To generate QR codes in bulk for your entire machine park, follow these steps:

  1. In the Equipment menu, click on the QR code icon located at the top of your equipment list.

  2. You can then print all the QR codes that appear and stick them on your equipment.

Note: If you prefer to use your own QR codes, you won't need to install the ones from Mobility Work. To learn how to associate your QR codes with equipment in Mobility Work, please refer to this article.
