In the Mobility Work CMMS, there are different types of profiles to tailor the use of the tool to various roles within the organization.
- The "Administrator" profile is designed for users who are responsible for the overall management of the tool and its users. As an administrator, the user can add, modify, and delete equipment, tasks, activities, labels, and maintenance plans. The administrator can even reopen tasks that have been marked as completed. Additionally, this profile allows changing user roles or modifying passwords (if the user only accesses the network in question), giving the administrator full control over access and permissions within the tool.
- The "Technician" profile is suited for users who are responsible for creating and assigning tasks and activities. A technician can modify any intervention, even those they are not assigned to, providing great flexibility in managing interventions. However, to ensure accountability and data integrity, a technician cannot modify another user's activities or tasks that have been marked as completed. Furthermore, the technician profile does not allow the creation or modification of equipment, adding labels, or changing user permissions, ensuring these critical tasks remain under the administrator's control.
- The "Production" profile is designed for users who need to track network activities and create tasks. Users with this profile can only modify tasks they have created and cannot add activities, ensuring activities remain under the control of administrators or technicians. An additional benefit of this profile is that you can add as many production profiles as needed at no extra cost, as they are included in the Mobility Work subscription.
- The "Service Provider" profile offers a solution for communicating and managing maintenance interventions carried out by external service providers. Service providers can only access interventions and information relevant to them, ensuring the confidentiality of other data in the tool. Additionally, service providers can only add activities to tasks assigned to them, ensuring precise tracking of activities.
