If the task you are working on contains a checklist, you will be required to complete it before finishing the task. To complete the checklist, you must click on the Start button. This action will open the section with the steps to be filled out. Once the checklist is started, the task status will change from Planned to In Progress, or from Late to Late and Started. The checklist will have the In Progress status and will display the completion percentage.
How to complete the steps in my checklist?
The checklist will appear in a modal on the right, displaying general information such as the checklist name and description.
The steps to complete will then appear at the bottom.
Some checklist steps may be mandatory. If so, the step with validation (as shown in the image above) must be positively validated before the next step is unlocked.
Non-mandatory steps can be skipped.
How to view the image linked to a step?
Some steps may have an explanatory image that will help you better understand what to check when completing the checklist. This feature is available only on the Premium and On demand plans.
If an image exists, it will be indicated below the step's comment.
Click the Open Image button, and the image will open within the modal.
As the image size depends on the modal size, it may not be very visible. We recommend right-clicking and selecting Open in a new tab to view the image in its original size.
How to leave a comment on a checklist step?
When completing the steps in the checklist, if you are on a Premium or On demand plan, you have the option to add an additional comment for each step. This allows you to describe the action taken and facilitates collaboration with your colleagues.
Once the comment is ready, click Publish.
The comment can only be deleted by its author or an admin.
How to create a task from a checklist step?
If, during the checklist execution, you believe that additional maintenance is required, you can generate tasks from checklist steps.
The Create Task button is available below the step. This action opens the task creation page, pre-filled with the following information:
- Equipment or spare part
- Description (indicating that the task is following a checklist step and including the task ID to which the checklist belongs)
You can, of course, modify this information if needed.
